Current University of Waterloo students, staff and faculty can connect their laptops to the Internet via either wired (in Davis or Porter Libraries) or wireless (in any of the campus Libraries) connections. There is no charge for this access.
Guest or visitor access to the wireless network is available within the library but there are restrictions on what can be done. Greater network privileges require Eduroam credentials.
You can send print jobs from your laptop to printers in either Davis or Porter. Instructions for setting it up. Costs are the same as printing from a library computer.
IST has setup instructions.
Please be patient, initial connections are sometimes slow to happen.
Disconnecting is important as it frees up access for others.
