uWaterloo makes available some temporary guest-passes for authenticated wireless device access. Ask for one of the temporary Net-ID accounts at either Davis or Porter Library Circulation Desk.

Longer-lasting accounts for visiting scholars, post doctoral fellows, new faculty and staff, and people in joint programmes are created manually by IST. IST needs enough information to establish a unique individual, birth date, office location, department, etc. Requests should go to:
