  1. University of Waterloo Library Mission Statement

    The University of Waterloo contributes to the achievement of the University's goals by collaborating with other members of the University Community in teaching, research, learning and service.

    The Library is committed to the following values:

    The Library recruits, develops and deploys staff and provides the appropriate infrastructure to:

    • identify the information needs of the user community
    • relate those needs to available information resources
    • provide access to those information resources
    • facilitate the productive and efficient use of those resources
