Borrowing Privileges for Affiliates of Organizations/Programmes Associated with the University of Waterloo

Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) who are not UW alumni:

two week loan, up to 20 books at a time from the combined collections of TUG libraries; privileges extended for one year at a time. Cost of the community borrower card for CAO members is subsidized by a subvention from the Canadian Optometric Education Trust Fund. Due to the nature of the grant, subsidies are only extended to CAO members who are not UW alumni until funds have been depleted. To be eligible for the subsidy, registration must occur at the Optometry Learning Resource Centre.

Continuing Education Students:

two week loan; up to twenty books at a time from the combined collections of the TUG libraries; privileges extended for current term, $20 annual registration fee

Friends of the Library:

two week loan; up to twenty books at a time from the combined collections of the TUG libraries; privileges extended for one year at a time (a minimum fee of $20 is required to become a Friend of the Library

ICR (Institute of Computer Research) Corporate Associates:

two week loan; no limit on number of books which may be borrowed; letter of introduction from ICR is required; privileges extended for one year at a time

ICR (Institute of Computer Research) Corporate Partners:

term loan; no limit on number of books which may be borrowed; letter of introduction from ICR is required; privileges extended for one year at a time

Leadership Circles:

two week loan; up to twenty books at a time from the combined collections of the TUG Libraries. Includes members of the Laurel Society and the President's, Governor's, and Chancellor's Circles.

Mennonite Pastors associated with Conrad Grebel College:

two week loan; may borrow an unlimited number of books from the Conrad Grebel College library collection; those who wish to borrow from any of the other TUG libraries may register as community borrowers and pay the $20 annual fee

OCLC (Online Computer Library Centre) Reciprocal Borrowing Programme:

two week loan; up to twenty books at a time from the combined collections of the TUG libraries; privileges extended for duration of faculty member's visit to UW

Shad Valley Students:

two week loan; up to twenty books at a time from the combined collections of the TUG libraries; privileges extended for duration of programme, usually the month of July
