We launched the Library's original buttons on Library Day in fall 2010. Students, faculty, and staff picked up close to buttons in the 2010-2011 academic year alone!
In fall 2012 we started distributing library-inspired buttons designed by uWaterloo students. Students designed these buttons for the Library's buttons contest.
We receive a lot of questions about how to collect the different button designs.
You can find the buttons in bowls at the service desks at all of our locations.
Each location is distributing two button designs at a time, with distribution staggered throughout the term. See the distribution schedule for fall 2012 for more information.
All of the student-designed buttons will be available together on Library Day, which takes place on October 31. Visit any of the Library's locations between 10:00am - 12:00 pm to complete your collection!
