Access to Restricted Resources

Some resources and services (e.g.,research databases,
 some electronic journals) listed in the Library's website are available only to valid students, faculty, and staff of the University of Waterloo. The restriction is imposed by the database provider or the site licence, or simply because of the nature of the service. To access these resources remotely (i.e., outside of the uwaterloo.ca computer IP domain), you will need to connect through the proxy server set up for this purpose.

If you are not able to access these resources, you may need to have your WatCard barcode number registered with the Library.  Please contact the Library. It is important to include your WatCard barcode number in your inquiry.
