This Writer's Life: Disembodied Processes
a talk by Illona Haus

Illona Haus is a graduate of UW with a degree in Fine Arts. She's currently the faculty secretary in the Department of English, a position she's held for eight years.

She's a prolific writer and a very dedicated one, often putting in another forty hours a week at the keyboard once she comes home from UW. Her publications have sold over a quarter of a million copies to date, and have been translated into twenty-two languages. She has another book coming out in August 1997.

Illona's talk, "This Writer's Life: Disembodied Processes," is a humorous and witty reflection on her career, sure to appeal to anyone who has ever thought that writing romantic fiction is an easy way to make a buck (it isn't) and that writers lead glamorous lives (they don't)
