Die Kuh werte ich hohlen lassen so bald ich jemant bekomen kann, bei der ersten Gelegenheit[.]

Wir haben gehört der Johan sei Geheirathet [.] ist es wahr [?] − Er hat noch nicht Geschrieben. Aber der Willhelm, hat recht Brüterlich gethan [:] Er hat Gleich die erste Woche Geschrieben so ist Recht [.] Willhelm bleibe mir recht brav [.]

English Translation of Page 1

I will see that the cow is fetched at the first opportunity, as soon as I can get someone.

We heard that Johann is married. Is it true? He hasn’t written.

But Wilhelm acted in a truly brotherly way: he wrote right away in the first week, as is right. Wilhelm remains a fine fellow in my eyes.
