The fonds consists of twelve "daily diaries" with entries pertaining to daily farm operation and covering the period, intermittently, between 1907 and 1948. Also included, although unrelated, are two ledgers from a Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario general store for the years 1893 and 1907. Accounts listed include purchases of John King, father of William Lyon Mackenzie King, and help document the lifestyle of that family then living at Woodside, now a National Historic Site.
