One of the department's major visual resources is the Kitchener-Waterloo Record Photographic Negative Collection.
Other archives, such as the Breithaupt Hewetson Clark Collection, K-W Oktoberfest, Inc., and the Young Women's Christian Association of Kitchener-Waterloo, also contain visual resources which may be useful in local history research.
