LIBRARY SERVICES

INFORMATION NEEDS

Information technology has changed significantly during the past ten years. Since it is important to know if the Library is meeting the research and information needs of the academic community, another task group has been created to plan and carry out a needs assessment project. The results of this survey will provide the Library with information to:

DOCUMENT DELIVERY AND INTER-LIBRARY LOAN

Again, a task group was struck to make recommendations on the introduction of document delivery services and to explore the impact of such services on UW Library services and resources. The project involved:

RESERVES

A proposal to consolidate and relocate the Library Reserve Reading units in the new extension to the Campus Centre has been accepted by the student building's management committee. The move has been undertaken with the objective of providing students with improved access to materials on reserve. The following services are being considered in conjunction with the new facility:
