LAUW Journal Club

The LAUW journal club is open to all Library staff and is intended to encourage discussion, new ideas, and opportunities for learning from one another across the Library system. This is a chance to engage with the current literature, research, and practices in the library field.

The journal club is coordinated by the LAUW Programs Committee Chair. Picture of journal stacks at the Musagetes Architecture Library in Cambridge

What's involved in the journal club?

  • Meetings are approximately once a month
  • Library staff select and read a new article (or study etc.) for each meeting
  • Everyone can suggest articles
  • Everyone will have an opportunity to vote for which articles they'd like to read for upcoming meetings

What's the commitment?

No commitment. Library staff can read articles and attend meetings as interested and available.
