This publication provides a selective list of materials on the subject of the Nazi extermination of the Jews during the Second World War—the Holocaust, also known as the Shoah [Hebrew meaning catastrophe]. The Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and the Humanities Citation Index are two international multidisciplinary indexes to the literature of the social sciences and related disciplines. A special feature of the SSCI database is the capability to search for articles which cite other, known material. As well, citations are used to link articles citing the same original material.
