I've found the following may be useful as further reading with respect to developing search strategies and online searching. You may find that an explanation different from the above may make more sense to you. Yes, a lot are from Online; that's because that's what they specialize in. Ultimately, however, it still comes back to how well you know the information and the database itself. Not everything listed here is in the TUG libraries. Some of the links to courses may disappear and reappear depending on whether the courses are offered.
