The "Did You Know?" display will feature little-known facts and well-believed myths about the Library. For example, did you know that:
Some people think the Porter Library looks like a sugar cube. Others describe it as a wedding cake. Now it's your chance to get artistic and show us how you envision Porter by doodling Dana on Library Day.
Check out the UW Library Day Flickr site for a handful of doodles submitted early by library staff and others in the UW community.
In addition to Doodle Dana, there will also be other unique pieces of artwork on display.
Stop by the Copy Centre to check out its new look and to fill out a ballot for a chance to win a Phaser 6100 Color Laser Printer sponsored by Xerox. (approx. value $700.00).
Get your picture taken on the new main floor. Graphics will be taking pictures in the southwest corner of the floor from 10 am -12 noon. Library staff will send your photograph to you later in a cartooned e-card.
Explore the floor's new areas and features. The digital display screen near the elevators will also be showcasing the floor's features and student testimonials.
