Library Day Activities

On Library Day, we'll have an assortment of refreshments for visitors. Stop by for apples, apple cider, cookies, and Smarties™.

Additional activities will include an opportunity to pick up all ten of the student-designed library buttons, the Geospatial Centre's public opening, and a draw to win a prize from Retail Services.

Student-Designed Library Buttons!

All of the student-designed buttons will be available together between 10:00am and 12:00 pm on Library Day. Visit any of the Library's locations to complete your collection!

The Geospatial Centre welcomes all visitors to its public open house on Library Day. Join Geospatial Centre staff in their Halloween-decorated digs for a wide range of activities, including:

A geo-inspired photo booth! Have your photo taken in front of a green screen in the Geospatial Centre. Geospatial Centre staff will photoshop your image to appear in your chosen location and email it to you afterwards for you to share with friends and family!
A challenge to guess the location of historial air photos
Halloween-inspired Google Earth displays
And more!
