New Services for Optometry Undergraduate Students

As of January 2005, undergraduate students in Optometry have access to UW @ UW and CISTI Source retrieval and delivery services.

With access to UW @ UW, Optometry undergraduates are now able to request a book, or a photocopy of a journal article, found at any UW Library for delivery. (This excludes items found in the Optometry Learning Resource Centre.)

Also available at no charge to Optometry undergraduates is access to materials requested from CISTI Source. The provision of access to CISTI Source will help accommodate the need for fast turnaround for the delivery of journal articles not available from any of the libraries within the TriUniversity Group (TUG). Undergraduate students in Optometry should contact their Liaison Librarian, Carol Stephenson, for CISTI Source account information.

Books requested by Optometry undergraduate students will be delivered to the Optometry Learning Resource Centre (OLRC), while requested journal articles can be sent to their respective on-campus mailboxes located in the Optometry building.
