Here on contract (until August 2005), Charlotte Woodley is a Project Archivist with the Library's Special Collections Department.
Charlotte joined the Special Collections Department in September to process the historical records of Dare Foods Limited. Dare Foods Limited is a family-run biscuit and candy manufacturing business that has been based in Kitchener since 1892. When Charlotte finishes preserving, arranging, and describing the company's records, they will be accessible to researchers visiting the Special Collections Department.
A graduate of the University of Guelph's History program, Charlotte is currently finishing her thesis for the Masters of Archival Studies program at the University of Manitoba. She has worked on a variety of archive projects for the Algonquin Park Museum Archives, Hudson's Bay Company Archives at the Archives of Manitoba, and the Elgin County Archives.
