images.MD (iMD)

images.MD (iMD) is an online encyclopedia featuring more than 50,000 high-quality medical images, each one accompanied by authoritative text from 2,000 of the world's leading medical experts. More than 90 subject collections can be found on the site. The images can be incorporated into online courses, lecture presentations for class or conferences, and course notes without the need to get copyright clearance.

To access all of the features offered, you will need to set up a personalized account with images.MD by selecting the “Click here to register now!” link.

Access to images.MD is available from the Library's Online Reference Shelf under the link for Encyclopedias

images.MD can also be accessed via the Library’s catalogue, TRELLIS.

The purchase of images.MD is a joint venture between the Davis Centre Library and Dr. Tom Carey, Associate Vice President of the Office of Learning Resources and Innovation.
