Repère

Repère is a new research database providing access to a comprehensive index of articles published in a broad scope of French language periodicals covering all fields of general and specialized knowledge. Created by the National Library of Quebec (BNQ) and Services Documentaires Multimédia (SDM), Repère's searchable database includes over 410,000 periodical citations and 21,000 full text articles, plus open-access to over 10,000 articles available on the Internet from 1980 to the present.

In addition to offering a comprehensive index of the periodical titles (Périodiques), Repère offers both simple (Recherche simple) and advanced (Recherche élaborée) search options. Journal citations and articles can be searched by keyword (Sujet + titre + résumé), subject (Sujet), author (Auteur), title of article (Titre de l’article), and/or title of journal (Titre du périodique). Search history (Historique de vos recherches) and help (Aide) options are also available.

Repère can also be accessed from the Library’s catalogue, TRELLIS.

The purchase of Repère was added to the Library’s collection on behalf of the UW French Studies Department.
