Adel Sedra, Dean of Engineering, is this year's speaker at the annual Friends of the Library Lecture and Authors Event scheduled for Wednesday, May 24 at noon in the Theatre of the Arts. This is a free event open to the UW community.
Sedra's lecture for the Authors Event is entitled: "Universities from the Bottom Up: Personal Reflections of a Lifer."
In addition to the public lecture, there will be a display of the creative works of campus authors, musicians, and artists. If you have written a book, play, musical score, or had your work exhibited, the Library would like to hear from you. Please contact Cheryl Kieswetter in the Library Office (ext. 32281).
