PsycBOOKS provides online access to the fulltext from books and chapters published by the American Psychological Association (APA) and other reputable publishers of psychological and sociological information.
Since its inception in 2004, PsycBOOKS has over 850 titles, including 120 archival resources and 100 out-of-print books. Also included is access to the 8-volume, Encyclopaedia of Psychology. Co-published by the APA and Oxford University Press, this encyclopaedia offers access to over 1,500 authored entries.
Available through the CSA interface, PsycBOOKS can be searched separately or simultaneously with other research databases such as PsycARTICLES, PsycCRITIQUES, and PsycINFO.
Access to PsycBOOKS is available from the Library’s Research Databases (Journal Articles) page by clicking on the letter "P" in the Browse by Title section, then by selecting the link for "PsycBOOKS."
It can also be accessed via the Library’s catalogue, TRELLIS.
