Attention humanities, social science, and science scholars – your library just got bigger! The Library has recently initiated a 3-year membership with the Center for Research Libraries (CRL).

The CRL is a consortium of libraries that provides its members with access to 1 million digital resources and more than 4.5 million print publications, archives, and collections.

CRL’s focus

The collection has a distinct emphasis on materials produced outside the United States, particularly those from developing nations. Holdings include newspapers, journals, dissertations, archives, and government publications. The collection spans many subject areas, from humanities to science, with notable coverage in the areas of economics, politics, international diplomacy, physical sciences, and the history of science and technology.

Over 600,000 items are fully searchable from the CRL’s catalogue. To locate uncatalogued items, check the prepared topic guides.

Borrowing materials

To access CRL items, place an interlibrary loan request through RACER and we will get the materials at no cost to you.
