NEW!  Book Study Rooms Online

Group Study Room

From now on, you won’t need luck to get a study room in the Library! Starting October 1st, the study rooms in the Davis and Dana Porter libraries will be bookable through the Library’s new online booking system.

Now anyone with a UWDir username and password can book study rooms for up to 3 hours/day to a maximum of 10 hours/week.

How does it work?

Simple! It’s a 100% self-serve system where you can book, modify, or delete your room bookings online at your own convenience.

The study rooms will remain unlocked, so just show up at the room at the time of your booking.

What types of rooms are available?

What are the booking limits?

Students asked, and we’ve listened...

Students have told us that the Library’s study rooms are prime studying real estate, so this system was created to ensure fair and equal access to these spaces for everyone. Enjoy!

Many thanks to co-op student, Adam Patterson, for developing this system for the Library using the open-source software Meeting Room Booking System. Additional thanks to the two classes of Systems Design students in SYDE 348/SYDE 740 for their exceptional contributions in creating the conceptual designs for the system.
