The Canada Year Book Historical Collection is now available free on the web for years 1867 through to 1967.
The Canada Year Book was first published in 1867 and is a primary resource for locating economic and social information on Canada and Canadians.
This volume is fullly searchable and compiled in "almanac style," including approximately more than 100 photos, nearly 50 maps, as well as over 500 pages of tables, charts, and analytical articles on major areas covered by Statistics Canada.
It also includes biographical and professional information on select politicians, industrialists, scientists, agriculturalists and others who influenced the development of Canada's land, economy, and society.
