New JSTOR Platform

On April 4, JSTOR released its new platform, designed with additional search and customization features, as well as a brand new look.

Some features of the new platform include:

• A search box for journal titles:

• "NEAR" proximity search operators, that let you to search for terms within 5, 10, or 25 words of each other:

• Search results that include images from both JSTOR and ARTstor
• Improved navigation for search results — including "go to page" number boxes and the option to search within your results
• Improved article and page displays, with citation information more prominently visable and article pages navigable through thumbnails
• And much more!
