The main floor of the Dana Porter Library is nearing the final stages of renovation and is now scheduled to reopen to the public in early October.

No firm date is set for the reopening yet, but finished pieces are moving into place quickly. The latest renovation pictures show recent carpeting, painting, and the installation of key structures such as the Circulation and Reserves Desk.
Work continues on the tiling of the floor, which is a key factor affecting the timing of the reopening, after which computers and service points can be reinstated.
In the meantime, to stay on top of renovation news, please see the renovations website.
