French Databases CAIRN and Érudit

French students and scholars will be interested in learning about two new e-journal databases – CAIRN and Érudit – acquired as part of CRKN’s Digital Content Infrastracture.

CAIRNCAIRN is a comprehensive e-journal collection offering access to approximately 150 French language periodicals in the social sciences and humanities. CAIRN’s subject coverage has strengths in history, political science, economics, sociology, and psychology, with titles to be added over the next two years in arts, literature, philosophy, and religious studies.

EruditÉrudit provides online full-text access to approximately 65 Canadian scholarly journals primarily within the humanities and social sciences. The majority of the journals are in French, although a small minority are bilingual or English titles. See the journal list for titles included.

CAIRN and Érudit are accessible through the Library’s Research Databases page.
