Contents from Eighteenth Century Journals I and II are included in this collection which covers a range of materials depicting eighteenth-century social, politica,l and literary life.
The collection includes materials from the Hope Collection at the Bodleian Library and the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center in Austin, Texas — two of the world's leading collections of 17th and 18th century newspapers and periodicals. Eighteeth Century Journals includes both major publications and more ephemeral works to provide a broad picture of the journalism during this era.
All contents have been screened against Early English Books Online (EEBO), Early English Newspapers, and Eighteenth Century Collections Online to avoid duplication. Items reproduced in this collection include many rare materials not held by the British Library.
