The main floor of the Dana Porter Library has been open for over a month now. To celebrate the reopening, October 28 was proclaimed Library Day at UW.

The day highlighted the Library's role in supporting the learning, teaching, and research needs of the UW community. Visitors enjoyed apple cider and snacks, and participated in a range of activities that included posing for customized e-cards, creating library-inspired doodles, and visiting a range of displays.

The day’s events were followed by an evening reception for major donors, UW senior administration, and the Board of Governors, and was notably attended by members of the Porter family.
Thanks to everyone who attended the day’s events!
