Attention all CISTI Source users! The Library’s access to the CISTI Source article ordering service will end when our site license expires on March 31.
CISTI (Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information) is retiring its CISTI Source service in August and will be replacing it with a new product called "Discover,” which is a desktop delivery service that is searchable at no charge, but requires online credit card payment at the time of ordering. This is unlike CISTI Source which is a site license, account based system that delivers paper copies of articles via the Library.
The Library is unable to pay for articles ordered through Discover because a credit card number is required at the time of ordering and due to increased service charges.
The Library is confident most article requests can continue to be quickly accessible through our ILL/Document Delivery Service, RACER.
