The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) has increased its focus on French resources through its newly initiated partnership with Collectif international des fonds documentaires en langue française (CIFNAL).

As described in CRL's newsletter FOCUS on Global Resources, CIFNAL will enhance CRL members' access to critical source materials in the French language, including to scholarly journals through CAIRN (which the Library also has direct access to) and to additional materials from publishers in France and Belgium.
One of CIFNAL's first collaborative projects with CRL will be to create a searchable digital library of small chapbooks sold by vendors in France during the 17th to 19th centuries. The digital collection will be entitled the Bibliothèque Bleue Online.
A full list of all of the current French collections and resources available to CRL and CIFNAL members are available in the "Selected French History and Culture Resources."
