Springer E-Books Get a Boost

Springer e-booksAttention e-book lovers! The Library has recently acquired Springer's 2009 e-book package containing over 3,000 e-books to be added during the 2009 calendar year.

The newly acquired titles are the latest addition to the Library's Springer e-book collection of over 20,000 titles.

The collection integrates books, book series, textbooks, and reference works from 2005 on and is generally organized into 13 subject collections:

The largest subject coverage is in engineering, computer science, math, and the sciences.

Item records in Springer are also added to Primo and TRELLIS, so they are discoverable in catalogue searches. When looking for specific books in this collection, use the keyword "springerlink."

The Springer e-books collection was acquired by the Library as part of a collective purchasing arrangement made on behalf of the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL).
