After a year long trial in consultation with the Chemistry Department, the Library has purchased a subscription to Nature Chemistry, a monthly journal dedicated to chemistry research.
Nature Chemistry’s core focuses include analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, but the journal also covers a wide range of topics such as catalysis, computational and theoretical chemistry, environmental chemistry, green chemistry, medicinal chemistry, nuclear chemistry, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and surface chemistry.
In addition to research works, Nature Chemistry also publishes reviews, news and opinions, research summaries from other journals, and “an analysis of the broader chemical picture beyond the laboratory” that includes coverage of issues such as education, intellectual property, funding, policies, and societal impact.
