Introducing Jennifer Domise

The Library welcomes Jennifer Domise to the position of Elsevier Graduate Student Ambassador. Jennifer joins the Library for the winter term to coordinate targeted outreach on campus with the goal of educating students, faculty, and researchers on Scopus, Engineering Village, and other electronic resources at the Library.

A researcher herself, Jennifer is a MA Photo: Jennifer Domisecandidate in the Faculty of Environment with research interests in development economics. She is specifically focused in the area of micro credit finance as a tool for poverty reduction in South East Asia, Vietnam, with additional interest in the gendered nature of economic remittance sending patterns between Canada and the Caribbean.

Jennifer brings her strong research background and teaching interest to this position where she will be working one-on-one with students, collaborating on instructional opportunities with librarians, and spearheading educational events.

"I'm very interested in learning how my research tips can be combined with undergraduate students' knowledge to maximize their potential."
