Web of Science - Expanded Access
The Library now has complete coverage of Web of Science, thanks to CRKN negotiations last month. The newly added content includes access to the ISI Proceedings Citation Index, as well as back files for the Science and Social Sciences Citation Indexes dating from approximately 1900 to 1950.


The full coverage of Web of Science now includes:
- The Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI) – Covers over 5,700 journals in the medical, physical, and natural sciences, and engineering (approximately 2,000 more titles than the print or CD-ROM version) and is updated with 16,000 new records every week. The entire database extends back to 1899. Journal list.
- The Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) – Covers 1,700 journals in the social sciences and is updated with 2,800 new records every week. It also selectively covers relevant items from over 7,000 leading science and social sciences journals. The entire database extends back to 1898. Journal list.
- The Arts & Humanities Citation Index (AHCI) – Covers over 1,400 journals in the arts and humanities and is updated with 2,200 new records every week. It also selectively covers relevant items from over 5,600 leading science and technical journals. The entire database extends back to 1975. Journal list.
- The Conference Proceedings Citation Index (for both Science and Social Science & Humanities, 1990-present) – Covers conference literature in all scientific and technical fields, as well as in all fields of social sciences, arts, and humanities.
