The Library recently initiated a subscription to the interdisciplinary database LGBT Life. Self-described as the “definitive index to the world's literature regarding Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender issues,” this database contains indexing and abstracts for over 190 LGBT periodicals and more than 330 LGBT books and reference works.
LGBT Life is of potential interest to students and scholars in history, political science, psychology, English, women’s studies, sociology, and more.
In addition to indexing and abstract coverage, full-text access is available for over 140 books and for 120 of the “most important and historically significant” LGBT journals, magazines, and regional newspapers.
