Looking for art images for educational and non-commercial use? The Library has recently activated a subscription to the Art Museum Image Gallery, a database containing art images and related multimedia from hundreds of museum collections worldwide.



The Art Museum Image Gallery contains over 160,000 images with full bibliographic information that includes curatorial text, provenance information, and various image views.
This database is of essential interest to scholars in art history, studio art, and design and will be of peripheral interest to those studying in history, religion, classics, and archaeology.

The Art Museum Image Gallery can be accessed via the Library’s Research Databases page or the Fine Arts Databases page and can be searched alone or simultaneously with other WilsonWeb databases that the Library subscribes to such as Art Full Text and Art Retrospective.
