What is the bX™ Recommender?

If you’ve searched for articles lately, you may have noticed the bX™ Recommender service when using the Library’s Get it at Waterloo Symbol(“Get It! @ Waterloo”) feature.

bX Recommender logoThe bX™ Recommender service provides article recommendations based on usage information. Similar to how Amazon makes book recommendations, it tells you what articles other users have accessed in relation to the ones you’re interested in.

The driving force behind the service is to connect you with research material that is relevant, timely, and easily accessible, while also making use of user-driven information.

The Library currently has trial access to the bX Recommender until the end of July, so let us know if you think it’s useful.
