Ahmed is liking his new position so far. “We have a great team of casual staff at the desk,” he says. “I’m really enjoying the experience of working in such a dynamic place surrounded by all these enthusiastic and passionate students from different cultures.”
Before arriving at the Library, Ahmed completed a medical degree at Ain-Shams University in Cairo-Egypt. While in Cairo, he also obtained his Masters degree in neuropsychiatry and worked in a mental hospital and a governmental institute for addiction therapy for four years.
In his spare time Ahmed enjoys working out, biking, fishing, playing ping-pong, and working on puzzles.
