Canadiana Discovery Portal

Recently described in the Globe and Mail as the “Google of Canadian history,” the Canadiana Discovery Portal is an online search that includes over 60 million fully-accessible digitized historical artifacts.

The Canadiana Discovery Portal's collection includes books, photographs, journals, newspapers, post cards, sheet music, and audio and video files digitized from sixteen different institutions across Canada.

The Portal's contents includes a partial subset of the documents available in the Library's subscription database Early Canadiana Online.

Both the Canadiana Discovery Portal and Early Canadiana Online are created by Canadiana.org.
