Imagine being able to search the Library’s catalogue, article databases, and news sources all from one search. This is exactly what you’ll be able to do in coming months as the Library initiates a trial of a new search called Primo Central.
Primo Central is a web-scale index that will offer you the option of searching many of our resources all at once. This is unlike our current situation, where you often have to search in many different places (Primo, ScholarsPortal, etc.) to find resources.
We expect to launch this Primo Central trial by the end of February. As part of this trial, we’ll be looking for your feedback to evaluate how well Primo Central meets your needs.
News @ your library will provide more information about Primo Central and how you can provide feedback as this search becomes available.
