March workshops include Better Searching – Better Marks, Conference Proceedings, and Journal Impact Factor, H-Index and More.

Here is a secret: better searching can lead to better marks. In this hands-on session, you will learn advanced search strategies for effectively locating books, journal articles, and internet resources. Discover how to make better use of your time and find good sources for your papers and assignments.
Finding conference proceedings can be tricky! This hands-on session will introduce you to deciphering conference proceedings citations and provide you with the tools to navigate the often complicated search process.
Some journals are read and cited more than others. Measuring the impact of a journal may help you identify where to publish as well as how much visibility your research may expect in return. Measures include Journal Impact Factor, SCImago Journal Rank, Eigenfactor Score, and Journal h-index.
