Find Books, Articles and More Using Primo Central

Looking to simplify your research? You can now find books, articles, and many other resources in a single search with the Library's Primo Central Trial.

Primo Central can be used to find resources in the Library’s catalogue (Primo / TRELLIS), plus a lot of the content available through the Library’s databases.

As you may have already noticed, a link to the Primo Central trial has replaced the “Journal Articles Quick Search” on the Library’s homepage. The search engine that supported the “Journal Articles Quick Search” is being phased out. We hope Primo Central will provide a faster and more comprehensive search alternative. A diagram illustrating what's in Primo Central. A large circle represents all of Primo Central's content. Inside is a smaller circle representing all Primo/TRELLIS content and a larger circle which represents all of the articles available in research databases. This larger circle overlaps and extends outside of the Primo Central circle, illustrating that not all articles will be available through Primo Central.

To learn more about Primo Central, see Library’s Primo Central website which includes an FAQ. Some of the FAQ questions include “What is Primo Central,” “What’s in Primo Central? What’s not in Primo Central?” and “Why is the Library participating in this Primo Central trial?

The Library will be trialling Primo Central until the end of the fall term. During this time, we would like as much feedback from faculty, students, and staff as possible. Submit feedback through the “feedback” link on the bottom of the Primo Central search page.
