The Library placed 2nd in the 10th IFLA International Marketing Award competition (International Federation of Library Associations) in recognition of its successful buttons campaign. The first and third place winners were Tsinghua University Library and Kosteneevo Rural Library respectively.
The objectives of the award are to reward the best library marketing project worldwide, to encourage marketing in libraries, and to give libraries the opportunity to share marketing experiences.
