Left to right: Sam Gibbon, Wish Leonard, Jamie Reilly
(Ext. 36473) is the Library’s new Manager for Resource Sharing and Reserves. Sam has overarching responsibility for ILL, TUGbars, Reserves, and related services. Sam was previously the Manager of Lending Services for 19 months, and before this, she was a supervisor in the Resource Sharing unit for 8 years.
(Ext. 35430) has accepted the position of Head of Acquisitions. Wish manages all staff and processes involved in acquiring library resources. He is responsible for managing the Library’s expenditures against the acquisition budget and frequently liaises with vendors. “I am enjoying the position so far,” Wish says. “In my previous position as Manager for Resource Sharing and Reserves, I worked mostly with library users. In this new position, my dealings are primarily with vendors and publishers. It is challenging, but that is also what makes it interesting.”
(Ext. 32489)
is the Library’s new Lending Services Manager for Circulation Services. Jamie has overarching responsibility for circulation desk services and technical support services. She is also responsible for administering circulation functions for the Library’s catalogue, liaising with unit libraries on circulation matters, and managing the casual staff budget. She was most recently the Library’s Resource Sharing Supervisor.
