We Welcome Your Input on the Library's Draft Strategic Directions

Just under a year ago, the Library launched a strategic Library Review. A lot has happened in the interim, including the campus Mid-Cycle Review (MCR), the development of several Faculty strategic plans, and the introduction of many new faces on campus at the senior leadership level. Work on the Library Review has dove-tailed with and been informed by these various changes. [full article - Library Review] 06 Sept 2012

New Features in Primo! Primo logo

Just in time for the fall term, the Library has rolled out an upgraded version of Primo, the search tool for the Library's catalogue and online collections. [full article - Primo] 06 Sept 2012

Construction to Start Soon on the James and Elise Devitt Study Room

It will be the largest and most transformative renovation since the Dana Porter Library's main-floor renovation in 2008. Thanks to a $100,000 gift from Elise Devitt, the Dana Porter Library's 6th floor will be renovated this fall and will include the creation of a new group study room called the James and Elise Devitt Study Room. Doors Open - Westmount Walking Tour

Westmount walking tour iconDoors Open Waterloo Region celebrates its 10th anniversary this year with 37 participating sites and activities. To be held on Saturday, September 15, this year's events include a self-guided heritage walking tour of the Westmount neighbourhood. The tour was created by the Library's Head of Special Collections, Susan Saunders Mavor, based on her recent book Westmount: The Tie that Binds the Twin Cities.
