The Geospatial Centre helped to put more of the University of Waterloo on the map this fall! Geospatial Centre staff hosted a 2-day Google Map Maker event this November aimed at creating complete and accurate maps of the uWaterloo campuses.
This event provided an opportunity for the campus community to share about the places they know and love on campus with the world.
Over 200 people registered for the event and over 100 showed up to the event’s main site in the Student Life Centre. The result has made a permanent mark on Google Maps!
