STAT!Ref

Interested in evidence based medicine? If so, you’ll be happy to hear that the Library now subscribes to select resources from STAT!Ref, a prominent healthcare e-resource.

STAT!Ref allows you to cross-search full-text titles, journals, and authoritative evidence-based point-of-care resources. The Library’s subscription to Stat!Ref includes 25 key e-books such as:

• Stedman’s Medical Dictionary

• Pediatric Injectable Drugs. Commonly known as the Teddy Bear Book, pharmacists have relied on this resource for evidence-based recommendations for over nearly 30 years
  
  
• MedCalc 3000, a “unique computerized medical reference and tool set that … encompasses a wide array of pertinent medical formulae, clinical criteria sets and decision tree analysis tools used every day by clinicians, medical educators, nurses and health care students of all types”
  
  
• Updated editions of some items the Library currently has only in print

STAT!Ref has a useful free application for mobile devices, so you can access it wherever you happen to be.
