Electronic Interlibrary Loans / Document Delivery - Now Available
Electronic interlibrary loans are here! The Library is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, we will be delivering interlibrary loan requests for articles and other documents electronically.

How will electronic delivery work?
Next time you place a request in RACER or TUGdoc for an article or document that the Library doesn’t have, we will send you an email with a link to download the article/document in .pdf format. For the most part, this means you will no longer need to pick up paper copies from the Library.
Important things to know about electronic delivery:
- You will place requests in exactly the same way as before – through RACER and TUGdoc
- We will send separate emails for requested items as the items become available
- You will need a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe, PDF Studio, or SKim) to view documents via the download links
- The download links will expire after 30 days
- In cases where lending institutions do not grant the Library permission to deliver the material electronically, we will contact you directly to ask where you’d like a paper copy delivered
We anticipate that electronic delivery lessen your waiting time for requests, as we’ll be sending requests all day long as we receive materials from other institutions.
